maintenance wash
From time to time it may be necessary to add bleach or vinegar to your detergent to break down the polishes and waxes that your cloth has picked up. Although we recommend using " Dawn dish soap" for regular washing, for a maintenance wash we suggest using your regular laundry detergent in addition to the bleach or vinegar. *NEVER USE BLEACH AND VINEGAR TOGETHER!
A Maintenance wash may also be necessary when you have previously used cleaners that contained waxes and polishes. Your Streak Free cloth will remove the hidden waxes and polishes but you may have to wash the cloth and surface a couple of times. Once you remove the waxes and polishes you will only have to do a maintenance periodically.
